With 35 years of experience in concert curation, audience development, fundraising, marketing, educational outreach, and community engagement, Pamela works with organizations and individuals to clarify their goals and design tailored strategies that meet their specific needs.

As Artistic Director of the Gold Coast Chamber Players (GCCP), her distinctive programming and collaborations with leading international artists earned GCCP “Best Concert Series of the East Bay” in 2021 and 2022, as well as the Arts and Culture Award for Contra Costa County. Pamela’s speaking engagements include the American Association of University Women, “Rosie’s Girls” at Rosie the Riveter National Historical Park, Montclair State University, Duke University’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation program, InterMusicSF (workshop: “Approaching Presenters with Confidence”), and the 2026 National Chamber Music America Conference.

Her leadership with GCCP has been recognized through multiple city proclamations, including Black History Month, Women in Music Day, Gold Coast Chamber Players Day, and Pamela Freund-Striplen Day. She was also nominated for Lafayette’s Business Person of the Year and Citizen of the Year in 2023, and served for six years as Music Chair on the Lafayette Arts and Science Foundation board.
